Proper database references is crucial for the usefulness of the pathway both at WikiPathways and when downloaded in other formats. To add database references to a Data Node, double-click the node and in the resulting dialog perform a search for the data node name. The search will result in a list of IDs from different databases matching your query that you can choose from to annotate the node.
