Help:Finding Pathways
From WikiPathways
There are many ways to find your pathways of interest:
- Search by name of the pathway
- Search by gene name
- Browse by species
- Browse by pathway categories
Searching
To search for a pathway, type the name of the pathway, a keyword or a gene name in the Search field in the left-hand navigation panel, or the Search field on the main page. WikiPathways search is a Google search, so search results will include all pages with a hit for the keyword anywhere in the page. On the search results page you can refine the results based on species.
Browsing
You can browse pathways by species or by category or a combination. To browse all pathways click the Browse thumbnail on the main page or click the Browse link in the left navigation panel. Two drop-down menus are available for browsing pathways by species or category. Select your species of interest in the first drop-down menu and/or the category of interest in the second drop-down. All relevant pathways will be listed in alphabetical order. Clicking on any of the pathway names will bring you to the Pathway Page for the selected pathway.
Pathway of the Day
The Pathway of the Day is randomly assigned and displayed on the main page and clicking on the pathway name will bring you to the Pathway Page for the selected pathway.
