Description
The Beta-oxidation of fatty acids molecules is the process by which these molecules are broken down to generate acetyl-CoA. Acetyl-CoA can enter the Krebs cycle. One acetyl-CoA molecule is formed for each cycle of the fatty acid β-oxidation. (Source DOI: 10.21748/lipidlibrary.39187)
