Permission error

What kind of pathways will be presented in wikipathways? Will wikipathways contain metabolic pathways, signalling pathways and gene regulatory pathways? What about protein interactions as part of gene regulation or signalling?
- As user you are free to decide what information you want to include in your pathway. There is no clear border between the types of pathways you list, e.g. a single pathway may contain both metabolic, protein signaling and regulatory elements. I think it would be interesting to include information about the relation between WikiPathways and Wikipedia. The use of MediaWiki software and the logo graphically suggests that WikiPathways is a Wikipedia initiative (like WikiBooks), but I suppose WikiPathways aims at building a scientific resource, not an encyclopedic one. - Thanks for the suggestion. I agree that it would be good to add a statement about our relation to Wikipedia. You are right that WikiPathways is not directly related to the WikiMedia foundation (which includes Wikipedia and WikiBooks), but an independent initiative.
