Mechanical effects like shear strain and hydrostatic pressure have effects on the actin cytoskeleton. Also, consider inclusion of the effect of the actin cytoskeleton on stem cell lineage

Interesting ideas. Can you point to any publications relaying these effects at the level of protein interactions? These are fundamentally molecular pathways. AlexanderPico 02:41, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
