Histones are the major nuclear protein. Histone proteins get modified at various stages of most gene expression. The existing of multiple sites for modifications (include methylation, citrullination, acetylation, phosphorylation, Sumoylation, ubiquitination, and ADP-ribosylation). Would their post-translational modification have pathway?
