Help:LiteratureReferences

From WikiPathways

Jump to: navigation, search

Literature references can be added by using the Biblio extension. To cite publications, use the <cite> tag and specify the reference in the <biblio> tag in the references section. See the Bibilo website for more help and examples.

Examples

Here's how you cite publications or books. You can use the PubMed id of the publication.

Cite a PubMed publication<cite>GenMAPP</cite>, or a book<cite>JavaXML</cite> that's not in PubMed.
Multiple citations<cite>GenMAPP JavaXML</cite> in a single tag are also possible!

=== References ===
<biblio>
#GenMAPP pmid=11984561
#JavaXML Java & XML, Brett D. McLaughlin and Justin Edelson. O'Reilly, 2007. isbn: 0-596-10149-X
</biblio>

The result will look like this:

Cite a PubMed publication[1], or a book[2] that's not in PubMed. Multiple citations[1, 2] in a single tag are also possible!
