Description
In plants the geranyl-geranyl diphosphate (GGPP) as a precursor molecule that feeds in the biosynthesis of essential compounds such as chlorophylls, carotenoids, plastoquinones, growth hormone gibberellin and other secondary metabolites. Occurs in plastids.
