May I suggest directing the maize genes to EnsemblPlants instead of the Affymetrix probeset. e.g. http://plants.ensembl.org/Zea_mays/Gene/Summary?g=GRMZM2G045090
Ah, you found a bug in the annotation panel display. The identifiers as currently entered go to MaizeGDB (see set of links in External References at bottom of page). This is obviously better than the faulty links to Affy (via the bug), but perhaps you comment still stands for recommending EnsemblPlants over MaizeGDB? AlexanderPico 20:31, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
