Great new set of NAD pathways! While trying to add ontology tags to these pathways, I noticed the mention of "the pyrimidine moiety of the molecule" in the description. To the best of my knowledge NAD has purine and pyridine moieties, but no pyrimidine. Indeed, the resource referenced for the pathway also says "pyrimidine", but if you look at all the primary literature sources referenced, they talk about "pyridine". Thus, my guess is that the secondary source (biocyc) is wrong. Fortunately, here at WikiPathways it's easy to fix mistakes. I've edited the description accordingly. Please revert and let me know if this action was wrong and I'm missing some basic biochemstry. AlexanderPico 22:20, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
