Hi Georg,
I like this new streamlined variation on FAO. A couple comments while you are editing and before these go public.
(1) The "streamlined" title is not ideal. It's too dependent on the legacy of the other pathway rather than on the actual biological process differences. Can you think of distinct titles for these two pathways that focus on the biology? Maybe consult with Thomas and other authors of the first FAO pathway?
(2) I don't think the homology comment should carry forward to this version. That is a precise statement that only applies to the original FAO. Pointing to that FAO is good enough.
