Description

Pathway on THC metabolism. Delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC, also named delta1-tetrahydrocannabinol according to the monoterpenoid nomenclature), the primary hallucinogenic constituent of Cannabis sativa, is subject to hepatic metabolism primarily by hydroxylation.
