There have been no changes to this discussion for at least 30 days. If it is concluded, you may want to write a summary.

Hi. You recently changed the CAS id for Cystathionine from 56-88-2 to 535-34-2 on pathway http://www.wikipathways.org/index.php/Pathway:WP46. The old id linked to the correct information (http://www.commonchemistry.org/ChemicalDetail.aspx?ref=56-88-2), the new id didn't link anywhere. I reverted the change. Let me know if I'm missing something. Thanks! AlexanderPico 19:29, 8 July 2017 (UTC)

Hi Alex,

Please check your mail. There are some weird things going on, due to the Quick Edit feature I used. However, about this particular edit, I wrote the following in GitHub (Egon and I made an issue about manual curation of "faulty" CAS-numbers):

"56-88-2 (which is CAS-number for L-(+)-Cystathionine , occurred in multiple PWs, should be 535-34-2 for metabolite name cystathionine, which is used for the nodes)"

So either the name of the datanode is incorrect (and the CAS number was okay at first), or the name is incorrect (which is why I changed the CAS number), or the identifier in the library is linked to a wrong name (and therefore I found this issue in multiple PWs).

Hope to hear from you soon!
